Gaining Control Over Thoughts

Thoughts have a powerful influence on emotions and behaviour. This session teaches children how to recognise and manage unhelpful thoughts, reducing stress and self-doubt. They will learn techniques to shift their mindset, leading to greater emotional resilience.

Understanding and Regulating Emotions

Emotional ups and downs are a natural part of life, but learning how to navigate them is key. This week focuses on equipping children with strategies to recognise, process, and express their emotions in a healthy and constructive way.

Finding Strength in the Present Moment

Worrying about the past or future can feel overwhelming. In this session, children learn simple mindfulness techniques to help them stay present, feel calmer, and understand the difference between what’s in their control and what isn’t. By focusing on their own thoughts, choices and reactions, they begin to feel more empowered and less anxious.

Practical Calming Techniques

Recognising early signs of anxiety, frustration, or sadness is an important step in emotional well-being. This week provides simple, effective techniques to help children manage and process intense emotions, supporting their ability to self-regulate in challenging situations.

Power of Words and Daily Mental Fitness

The words children use—both out loud and in their own minds—shape their confidence and emotions. This session explores the impact of language and introduces a daily routine that strengthens positive thinking, self-belief, and emotional well-being, both now and in the future.
